In the recent years we have seen a spectacular growth in smartphone companies and also new contenders like Meizu, Oneplus, LeEco, Coolpad and let’s not forget about Google who left people mind boggled(in a good way) with their Pixel. Yet, here comes in another phone company(Of course Chinese!) called “10.or” short for “Tenor” with 2 of their latest smartphones in the Indian market called 10.or E and 10.or G available exclusively through Amazon. We’ll save you the hassle of surfing through various websites regarding your inquiries of the phone and talk about it here.

10.or E:

The 10.or E is a budget range smartphone with most of the top qualities except it’s processor. It comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080*1920 resolution IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, we got a Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core chip set along with a Adreno 505 GPU.

It comes in 2 variants depending on RAM/storage options 2GB RAM/16GB native storage and 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage. The storage is further expandable up to 128GB with microSD card. 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 are all there with both of the phones.

It runs an almost stock Android Nougat 7.1.2 with the company promising security patches and software update to Android Oreo. Coming to the camera, it has one 13MP rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and LED flash on the back and a 5MP, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash front camera. Regarding the battery, the phone is a hunk with a 4000 mAH battery which the company promises will give 2 days of battery life.

The phone is quoted to be an all metal design a little similar to Redmi Note 3 with the Fingerprint sensor embedded on the back panel, headphone jack(never thought that would be a criteria!), on screen navigation buttons and the phone feels premium with almost minimum bezel on the sides. The 10.or E comes in 2 colors Aim Gold and Beyond Black priced at Rs. 7999/- for the 2GB variant and Rs, 8999/- for the 3GB variant. Links down below.

10.or G:

The 10.or G on the other hand is a mid- level range smartphone doted as the direct competition for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, with a lot of features at a good price. This phone also comes with 5.5 inch full HD 1080*1920 resolution IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Down under we got a Snapdragon 626 Octa- Core processor with a 10% boost over the Snapdragon 625. It comes in two memory variants 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant expandable upto 128 GB via a MicroSD card.

It comes with Android Nougat 7.1.2 with an almost pure stock Android experience out of the box with promising updates. For it’s price, one the best feature is the Dual Camera setup on the back consisting of two 13MP sensors, along with Dual LED flash and a whopping 16MP selfie camera with Flash. This phone also has a 4000 mAH battery.

It has almost all the sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, compass( Competition to Moto G5 and G5s plus as well!), ambient light sensors, and fingerprint sensor. The design is similar to that of the 10.or E. 10.or G comes in two colors- Go Grey and Beyond Black priced at Rs.10999/- for the 3GB variant and Rs.12999/- for the 4GB variant. Links down below.

At an almost equal price and better features than the Redmi Note 4 and Moto G5 plus, I think we can say that the 10.or G is a tough contender in the mid-range category, But, it’s not safe to make assumptions without a full review. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
